Peggy tapped for Senate
11/20/2008

Peggy was selected by Republicans this week to complete the unexpired term of outgoing State Senator Jacobson. Lehner thinks the Senate appointment will give her an advantage after she is sworn in to succeed Ohio House Speaker Jon Husted as the state representative for the Ohio House's 37th District. "It gives me a chance to meet people in the Senate" and find out who to go to in order to pass legislation, she said last week.

With the a substantial amount of the votes in this evening, I am excited to begin my work in the Ohio House soon. This victory wouldn't be possible without my husband Jim, my family, and the dozens of volunteers that walked with me throughout Ohio's 37th House district. Thank you!
